A boat called “Etnia del Manglar” or Mangrove Tribe from Asconar an association of about 500 people dedicated to the clam digging activity in the Mangrove swamps that line the pacific coast along the city of Tumaco is dropping of the first group of clam diggers. The rhythm of the clam digging activity is attached to the tied. One week the low tide is in the morning the other week in the afternoon it allows for about 6 hours of digging in the Swamp.
