A flap made of fabric is being repaired and repainted at the DC3 workshop of Aliansa one of several airlines that uses DC3 in its fleet to service remote villages in the southern jungles of Colombia, from Vanguardia airport in Villavicencio. Much of the credit for the still functioning fleet of between 10 and 15 DC3 is given to the mechanics and their skills.
