During the “Fiesta de la Cruz” a day before the Tinku the Pasante i.e. the person that will bring the cross to church invites a group of guests to a hill top overlooking the town there he will give chicha an alcoholic beverage here made of rye and coca leaves to chew. People dance at the rhythm of the charango (small guitar) and the flute. Later they descend towards the church signing “Vamos a Pelear” we are going to fight.
