The rainy season, in July, August, September and November are tough months in Thailand’s north eastern highlands: All seeds have been sown. As the rice ripens in the fields, the farmers look for work as day labourers. But during the Monsoon rains there is hardly any. Exactly at this time of the year there are forests full of berries that make you rich? One of the first from the village to follow the temptation was Sathaphon Fongbansri.
