The Island of Maravilla 60 years ago used to be (according to the tales of the defunct oral historian Tio Pepe) bigger then one hectare and had a house on it used by local fishermen to rest. Today it’s almost entirely disappeared. The three small three serving as a resting point for frigate birds.
